October Business of the Month

American City Pest and Termite was started by Jim Shockey in 1979. At that time Jim serviced the accounts while his wife Celia answered the phones. With excellent customer service as their 1st priority the company has grown to 44 employees with 18 pest control service routes and a full service termite department. The company is immediately recognizable by its always clean white trucks adorned by the red, white and blue company emblem and the big red BUGS UGH logo. Jim and Celia’s daughter Cindy has worked at American City Pest and Termite since 1986. She was promoted to president in 2004 and is responsible for the daily operations of the company. Professionalism and dedication to building a company by doing quality work with quality employees and quality equipment are still the main focus of this growing company.
