Waronek & Associates is a full service consulting firm specializing in governmental advocacy, public/community relations, and strategic planning for clients throughout the South Bay and greater Los Angeles region. Mark Waronek is the owner of the firm and has over 11 years of experience in the business. Prior to staring his own firm, Mark Waronek worked for former Los Angles City Councilman, Rudy Svorinich, Jr. and three top consulting firms in Los Angeles. Presently, Mark Waronek is Mayor Pro Tem and is in his first term of office on the Lomita City Council. Waronek & Associates clients include Ponte Vista at San Pedro, American Medical Response, Time Warner Cable, West Basin Municipal Water District, Los Angeles Sanitation District, League of CA Cities, etc. Waronek & Associates is a proud member of the Harbor City/Harbor Gateway Chamber of Commerce. Mark Waronek is a past president of the HC/HG Chamber (1999-2001) and his currently the chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee.

South Bay Family Healthcare Center is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center committed to ensuring access to health care services for all members of our community. Founded in 1969, South Bay Family Healthcare Center provides high quality free and low-cost primary health care and preventive services to underserved individuals and families, regardless of ability to pay. More than 12,000 patients receive culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate services from our highly qualified and caring staff at four clinic sites, located throughout the Greater South Bay of Los Angeles County.


Butterfield Communications, Inc.

Founded in 2000, Butterfield Communications, Inc. (BCI) is a full service public affairs consulting firm specializing in community outreach and government relations. The President/CEO, Gwen Butterfield has extensive public affairs consulting experience in the Los Angeles/Long Beach and South Bay region. Ms. Butterfield is recognized as both a community and business leader in the Harbor Area and the South Bay . Her partner, Lou Baglietto , brings over twenty years of experience in politics and issue campaigns. Through education and outreach, Butterfield Communications, Inc. gains community consensus on projects. This approach leads to regulatory approval. BCI formulates and implements successful community outreach strategies. The firm facilitates meetings with elected and appointed officials and their staffs. Serving as a liaison to the media, BCI responds to press inquiries whenever necessary. BCI also attends and monitors important community meetings such as neighborhood councils. BCI manages the civic and charitable participation of its clients and prepares and delivers presentations on their clients’ behalf. BCI’s office is located in the Ports O’ Call waterfront village of San Pedro . The permanent staff is comprised of seven employees. BCI is a woman owned business enterprise.
